You Are Destined For Greatness, Inc. was created to support and mentor young ladies; to inspire them to reach their full potential and become influential within their communities. Our mission is to introduce them to a world of endless possibilities by providing positive learning experiences in education, arts, and community enrichment. You Are Destined For Greatness, Inc., a 501(c)(3) accredited non-profit, was created in 2015 from a recognized need to connect and empower young women in underserved Philadelphia communities. We are dedicated to building self-confidence, developing leadership qualities, and striving for achievement in all areas of life. Through our programs and special events, You Are Destined For Greatness, Inc. gives young women access to information, resources, and mentors to enhance personal growth and development, as well as academic, social, and economic enrichment. Our ultimate goal is to prepare today’s girls to become tomorrow’s leaders. Applications are accepted year round; however programming runs September through May of each calendar year. If you are interested in becoming a mentee, you may complete an online application. Please note that your parent or legal guardian must consent to your participation. In order to make You Are Destined For Greatness, Inc. efficient and successful, we will be utilizing multiple locations for our current programming session.** Our goal in doing this is to make presenting and attending our programming sessions as stress-free and seamless as possible. Current Session Topics **Please note: Session topics and locations are subject to change; as we are constantly searching for exciting topics to present. Without dedicated volunteers, our programs would not be possible. Programming runs September through May of each calendar year, but volunteer applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Whether you’re interested in short term, occasional, or regular volunteer opportunities, we look forward to getting you involved and connected with the opportunity that works for you!
